Terms of service

Last updated: July 2026

Acceptance

By using CVEInsight you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the service.

What the service is

CVEInsight is a free reference for publicly available vulnerability data, plus an optional scanner that matches a software list you choose to submit against that data. It is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the service: no scraping at rates that degrade it for others, no attempts to bypass rate limits, no submitting scan data belonging to systems you don’t own or administer, and no use of the data to attack systems you are not authorized to test.

No liability

Vulnerability data originates from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Decisions you make based on it — including patching, upgrading, or not acting — are your own. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVEInsight is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service. See the data disclaimer for details.

Changes

These terms can change; the date above moves when they do. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
