CVEInsight provides a free, publicly accessible interface for browsing and searching Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) data. The Service is provided “as is” for informational purposes only.

3. Permitted Use

You may use CVEInsight for lawful purposes only, including:

• Security research and vulnerability assessment of systems you own or are authorised to test
• Educational purposes and learning about cybersecurity
• Informing patch management and risk prioritisation decisions

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use CVEInsight to:

• Plan, facilitate, or carry out attacks against systems you do not own or have authorisation to test
• Develop or distribute malware or exploit tools
• Scrape or bulk-download data in a manner that disrupts service availability
• Misrepresent CVE data or use it in a misleading or harmful way

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the data is accurate, complete, current, or free from errors.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CVEInsight AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

CVEInsight is not responsible for any security decisions made based on data displayed on this platform. Always verify vulnerability information from authoritative sources such as NVD (nvd.nist.gov) before acting on it.

7. Intellectual Property

CVE data displayed on this platform is sourced from public databases and is not proprietary to CVEInsight. “CVE” is a registered trademark of The MITRE Corporation. CVEInsight is not affiliated with MITRE or NIST.

The CVEInsight interface, design, and original content are the property of the CVEInsight project.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
